Caned Ladder Back Straight Chair

$140.00

This chair was in an old barn and needed a great deal of work. After repairing the frame, Dinah decided to use a smaller cane (FYI - cane ½ the width of another takes 4 times as much length and therefore, time because you’re working on an AREA, which is square units) with a herringbone pattern on top and a basket weave on bottom. She stained the cane a walnut then oiled the frame. Maintenance would be re-oiling every 4-5 years for inside use.
